Apple Computer Corporation selected work of Mare Island artist and NBMA member Timothy Rose as a prizewinner in the 1998 international QuicktimeVR Contest. Rose painted the file of the room to create a 360-degree artwork. Apple Computer has selected Tim's "Mobile Landscape Room", a 16 ft.-square installation room filled with mobiles, as a unique example of the application.
